A ruleset is a set of settings applicable to a request. A ruleset is attached to every request. The menu 'Control' shows the ruleset attached to a specific request. The ruleset determines amongst others whether changes can be made after publication of the request and whether submitted proposals are immediately visible for purchasers. See below the complete list of ruleset settings.

 

Publication

Extra approval before publication needed: publication of a request requires approval, from f.e. a legal person. (yes/no).

 

Term

Minimum bidding period (days): number of days that will be added to the publication date to determine the closing date. In case the minimum bidding period is not taken into account it is not possible to publish a request (number between 0 and 100).

Allow extension of bidding period: after publication the closing date of a request can be modified to a later date (yes/no).

Allow shortening of bidding period: after publication the closing date of a request can be modified to a more recent date (yes/no).

Allow deviation of closing-term on participant level: the closing date of a request can be modified for an individual supplier (yes/no).

 

Changes

Allow changes in design of request: after publication it is allowed to make changes to existing objects in a questionnaire and the rows in a pricesheet (yes/no).

Allow additions to design of request: after publication it is allowed to add new objects to a questionnaire and change the structure/columns of a pricesheet (yes/no).

Allow change of rulest: after publication it is allowed to change the applicable ruleset (yes/no).

 

Opening

Offering instantly accessible after submission: after submission proposals/quotations are directly accessible for the purchasing organization.

No access to submitted response during evaluation phase for members: during the evaluation phase of a request proposals are only visible to projectmembers with the rol project manager/main user (no/yes).

Number of authorisations to unlock offerings: number of users from the workgroup that need to submit their password to unlock the proposals/quotations (number between 0 and 10).

 

Notifications

Send reminder to suppliers: automatically send a reminder to suppliers that have not submitted a request (yes/no). The reminder is send the day before the closing date of a request is reached.
